DAYTON, OH (October 14, 2009) — Community Blood Center – West Chester (CBC) has new business hours beginning November 1, 2009. CBC – West Chester, located at 8731 Union Center Blvd, will be closed Mondays, open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Anyone who would like to make an appointment to donate blood at CBC – West Chester can call 1-800-388-GIVE or (513) 777-4428 or online at www.DonorTime.com.
Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age (16 year old donors must have parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
