Blood drives scheduled today in Sabina at SRWW, 179 S Jackson St, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and in Hamilton at Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S Front St. from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. have been CANCELLED. Community Blood Center (CBC) urges area blood donors to give blood today if they can safely reach one of CBC’s branch locations in Dayton, Middletown, Springfield, West Chester or Richmond, IN. All other blood drives will take place as scheduled.

Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
