“GET OUT OF TOWN” BLOOD DRIVE
Win a pair of round trip tickets from Frontier Airlines

DAYTON, OH (February 20, 2008) —Community Blood Center (CBC) wants to send one of its donors and a guest out of town!  Everyone who registers to donate blood at any CBC blood drive or branch location from Friday, February 22 through Saturday, March 1 will be automatically registered to WIN a voucher good for a pair of round trip tickets to any destination in the continental United States served by Frontier Airlines!  One lucky donor and a guest will be able to escape the snow and cold of Ohio!

Also, on Friday, February 22, CBC-Dayton, 349 S. Main St., will serve a pizza lunch in the canteen from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. for donors who want to make the most of their lunch hour:  donate blood, save lives and get a FREE lunch!

On Saturday, February 23, the Omega Psi Phi fraternity will hold their annual blood and bone marrow drive at CBC-Dayton, 349 S. Main St., from 7:30 a.m. to Noon.  Everyone who registers to donate at CBC-Dayton during the Omega blood drive will receive a string of Mardi Gras beads in the Omega Psi Phi colors.

Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name.  Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card.  Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health.  The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.  Individuals with eligibility questions are invited to email canidonate@cbccts.org or call 1(800)388-GIVE.
