DAYTON, OH (May 29, 2008) —Community Blood Center (CBC) invites you to give blood between Monday, June 2 and Thursday, June 12 for the chance to win one of two Weber Spirit 310 Grills! Register to donate during the Father’s Day Blood Drive at any blood drive or branch location and you will automatically be entered to win a Weber Spirit 310 Grill. Summer is a challenging time for the blood supply as student donors are on break and CBC’s regular donors get busy with seasonal activities and vacations. CBC encourages you to be a summer lifesaver and donate blood!
Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
