DAYTON, OH (April 18, 2008) —Community Blood Center (CBC) invites you to give blood Monday, June 16 through Saturday, June 28 for the chance to win one of 800 Kings Island tickets! Register to donate at any blood drive or branch location and you can enter to win a free ticket to Kings Island! CBC will be giving away up to 80 tickets daily.
Summer is a challenging time for the blood supply as student donors are on break and CBC’s regular donors get busy with seasonal activities and vacations. CBC encourages you to be a summer lifesaver and donate blood!
Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
