Dayton, OH – Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services (CBC/CTS) is pleased to welcome Timothy A. Johnson, CPA, as the Controller. Johnson is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Accounting staff of CBC/CTS, and will maintain financial accounting information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In addition, Johnson will be responsible for developing annual accounting and administration budgets and effectively managing corporate expenditures.
Before joining CBC/CTS, Johnson worked for Curtiss-Wright Corporation located in Dayton, as Division Controller. He has over 20 years of accounting and financial experience and worked at Huffy Corporation for 17 years.
Mr. Johnson resides in Washington Township with his wife, Renee and two children, Sarah and Michael. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wright State University, and was CPA certified in 1987. In 1994, he received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
According to Judith E. Woll, MD, CEO of CBC/CTS, “I am excited that Tim has joined the management team at CBC/CTS. His past experience and overall expertise in accounting and finance will allow him to excel in his new position at CBC/CTS.”
